Hmmm...

Never read books you aren't sure about . . . even supposing that these bad books are very well written from a literary point of view. Let me ask you this: Would you drink something you knew was poisoned just because it was offered to you in a golden cup?

  1. great quote and I'll give you one that I read yesterday that I thought was equally as good:
    "It is a good rule, after reading a new book, never to allow yourself another new one till you have read an old one in-between. If that is too much for you, you should at least read one old one to every three new ones." CS Lewis

    1. I agree but only if the "old book" is a good book. No sense drinking poison twice!
