Check out this wonderful homily from a local parish. I am SO pleased to see some priests taking the opportunity to use the pulpit to speak the truth. Hooray! Let us pray that more members of the clergy find the strength to do the same.

ReplyDeleteWhat a great homily. I think that so many clergy are afraid to say those things. I know that there are people who don't hesitate to call the bishop if they hear anything that they deem political, even if it isn't. I think he was effective because he is in a wonderful, faith-filled, pro-life parish.
ReplyDeleteBTW, that is Deacon Tom Lopus, who was ordained with my husband. He is a big, burly kind of guy with the heart of a teddy bear. Sts. John and Paul are blessed to have him and Fr. Mac.
