Closing out Summer!

What an amazing weekend we had to close out summer. Some good Slovak fare to celebrate the return of PAS dance practice; a visit to the cemetery on my dear uncle's birthday; baseball with Uncle Dave; and a wonderful, if chilly, day at the pool with friends. I'm sad to see summer fly by but ours was full and it's time to move ahead to Fall. Bring on the Great Lakes!

only 2 of 3 pagach survived...too much cream in the rice

We took a long walk...it was such a beautiful day!

and we spied this Blessed Mother that someone had tacked to the tree to face their loved one.

What a good guy to get rid of all of those weeds/grass and make it beautiful again!



Excellent game...food and homeruns were both abundant!

How cute is she? I know she just wanted to see the purse up close ;0)
