Strawberries!

What a wonderful morning to spend at Triple B farms...very uncrowded, reasonably priced and lots of fun. This is a great resource for people waaayyyy south of the city. It was interesting to check out but we'll probably stay a little closer to home for our other berry/flower picking (except when we study bees - the bee house was awesome!)

They also have a nice "play and picnic" area....just in case you want more than fruit ;0)

No little boy on this outing. I can imagine that he, like the other little people on the trip, would have had a great time squishing all the berries. I am grateful that I had the opportunity to leave him behind this time around.

Corpus Christi Sunday

"For the first time in two decades Francis walked the traditional mile-long procession from Rome's cathedral to St. Mary Major behind the flatbed truck that carried the exposed Blessed Sacrament, instead of riding on the vehicle and spending the route on his knees before the monstrance."

Well, if it's good enough for The Pope ;0)

Today was the first annual Corpus Christi processional at St. Bernard Parish. How blessed we were to take part in such an amazing outing. To see Washington Road filled with the faithful, all following Christ in the Eucharist. Really, really moving. Perfect way to spend the day.
